The early bird catches the worm – or so the saying goes – and Nightingale House is urging women across North Wales and beyond to sign up and bag a discount for this year’s Ladies Midnight Walk.
The Ladies Midnight Walk will take place on June 17th and the Hospice are encouraging women to get their glitter on and get involved.
Starting from Llwyn Isaf at 10.30pm, the event sees women take on either a 3.5 or 6 mile walk while turning the streets of Wrexham into a sea of pink.
Hundreds of women many of whom will be adorned in glowing bunny ears and glitter, will be spurred on by an array of entertainment and Team Nightingale encouragement along the way.
If raising money for Hospice care in their local area wasn’t enough of an incentive, ladies taking part will also receive a special Midnight Walk souvenir t-shirt, a sweet treat and a high five or two on completion of the walk.
Those looking to take part in North Wale’s greatest girls’ night out can also benefit from an early bird offer until 28th April, with entry currently just £12.
Amanda Kinsey, fundraiser at Nightingale House, said: “We are thrilled that registration for this year’s Ladies Midnight Walk is in full swing. The walk is now in its eleventh year and it always has a buzzing atmosphere. We are already pulling out all the stops to make sure it is a fantastic event for everyone who walks or volunteers.”
“We want this year’s Ladies Midnight Walk to be bigger and better than ever before and would love to see you, your friends and your family all taking part.”
Whilst the walk is open to all ladies aged 8 years and over, men can also help the charity by marshalling at the event.
Registration forms are available from Hospice shops in Wrexham, Flint, Shotton, Mold, Buckley and Whitchurch, or ladies can sign up online at https://registration.everydayhero.com/ps/event/LadiesMidnightWalk2017/
