Christmas has come early for some Super Furry Animals fans, as Gruff Rhys plays a special full band show at The Live Rooms, Wrexham this Friday 7th December. As well as fronting the legendary Welsh band, Gruff was also half of the Mercury Nominated outfit Neon Neon, and has released 5 critically acclaimed solo albums to date.

Gruff’s band comprise of his regular drummer Kliph Scurlock (ex-Flaming Lips) and multi-instrumentalists Stephen Black (Sweet Baboo) and Osian Gwynedd. Gruff and his band have just returned to the UK from a European tour taking in France, Germany, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark and Ireland which has received raved reviews.

Friday night’s show is sold out and promises to be a real treat for those who have tickets. For those who missed out on tickets for the show, FOCUS Wales have announced over 100 acts set to play the festival in May, including: The Lovely Eggs, Boy Azooga, Neck Deep, Skindred, and BC Camplight.
