About the show

Join James Brown every Wednesday morning from 11am for a delightful eclectic show that promises to deliver a feast of delicious audible treats for your amusement.

Each week will present a fresh and lively plateau of interesting chatter, guests and above all music. All tracks played are especially chosen to honour the true artistic legends of our time, featuring a wide variety of genres including Funk, Soul, Jazz, Modern and Indie.

Local music plays a key element too. Every other week is met by a new personality, detailing their individual journey through the world of music and showcasing their work.

The variety will always be wide, and focused primarily around evocative, easy listening.

 About James

10156790_10154560464515384_8831128217958219692_n (1)Local born music nut, James’s passion for radio manifested itself at the age of three, since then and throughout his education the notion of hosting his very own show was merely a romantic fantasy…until now.

Being a part of CalonFM is a boyish dream come true.

Off air, James’s passions extend around the creation and production of music. After graduating from Middlesex University with a degree in Audio Engineering, he has pursued other roles that involve teaching, live sound engineering, acting and electronics. His other passions involve tinkering under the bonnet of his car and collaborating with other creators who work within the fields of music, film and podcasting.
