About the show
Ron says of his show “My good friend Elly Roberts, who is sadly no longer with us, persuaded me to approach Calon FM, and offer my services to them. The result was a chance to present a weekly programme called The Archive.
It offers what it say on the tin, archive material of all sorts from popular to comedy to jazz, indeed just about anything as long as it was recorded before the millennium. You just never know what may turn up within the show. With so many various features, the only way to discover what is on offer is to tune in to Calon on Friday around noon, and sample the menu. Should you enjoy what you hear, why not make a point of becoming a regular weekly listener, and I’ll do my very best to keep you entertained and informed.
If you have requests and/or dedications you would wish to be aired, please contact me at Calon, either by email or text, and I’ll do my utmost to fulfil your wishes, as soon as possible. I look forward to the pleasure of your company, and thank you for taking the trouble to read this”
